I was born in Stanley, Falkland Islands, and raised at a remote settlement called 'Fox Bay East' on West Falklands, a huge farm with 30,000 sheep. My father worked in communications at the Government station at Fox Bay. I grew up with penguins, birds, seals, sheep, cattle and horses and loved to draw and paint them. I knew when I was 3 years old that I would paint for a living and today they are still my favourite subjects. My wildlife paintings have been depicted on almost 50 postage stamps for the Falklands and South Georgia. Today my family have a farm in Orkney, Scotland (Islands again!) where there are also birds, seals, sheep, cattle and horses but I also keep very close ties with the Falklands and South Atlantic.
